Azad Mze

Azad is a lawyer member of the Comorian Bar. He holds a postgraduate diploma in "Francophonie and Globalisation Studies" from the Institut de la Mondialisation et de la Francophonie, University of Lyon III, Jean-Moulin, France. He also has a Master in Comparative Public and Private Law, option ‘Public Law’, Université de Perpignan as well as a Master’s degree in Political Sciences, option ‘Politics and Strategy of International Public Action’, University of Lyon III, Jean -Moulin, France. He has more than 22 years of experience. Azad's experience covers all legal issues relating to Comorian law. Before being called to the Moroni Bar, Azad was successively National Coordinator of the Support Programme for the Strengthening of the Efficiency of Justice and the Respect of Human Rights, member of the Financial Intelligence Unit, Public Prosecutor at the Court of First Instance of Moroni, member of the Constitutional Chamber of the Court of Appeal, and legal advisor to Comorienne de l'Eau et de l'Electricité (which was a subsidiary of the Vivendi Universal group back then). Azad is fluent in French and English.
