Edgard holds a Master's degree in Public-Private Law from the Valenciennes University – Option Law and Practice of international Contracts. He specialises in international contracts. He benefits from a double legal culture: French and African harmonized business law – OHADA. He has practiced as a lawyer/consultant in business law both in Paris and in West Africa within legal and tax consulting firms. He advises a variety of local and international clients including multinationals, lenders, development finance institutions and top tier investors on a diverse range of transactions in the Central African Republic. Edgard also worked in partnership with international law firms operating in the field of international financing and extractive industries. He advised on complex legal transactions including securitisations, natural resources transactions and infrastructure projects. His local knowledge of the investment environment, the regulatory and legislative framework allows him to advise clients on private sector investment. Edgard is fluent in English and French.
