We advised a major international commodities trading house on the acquisition of an LPG terminal in the port of Cotonou, Benin. We reviewed the whole regulatory environment for investment generally and specifically in the downstream petroleum sector, and the maritime/port sector. We carried out detailed due diligence on the seller and asset and drafted all the relevant local law transaction documents, including the registration of security over certain project assets.
