We provided legal advice in Madagascar to a lender for the Ivato and Nosy Be airport expansion and renovation project. We crafted an extensive legal brief on the matter, including a detailed review of all relevant project documentation. This involved:

  • The concession agreement between the concessionaire and the Government of Madagascar (GoM);
  • The ‘Cahier des Charges’ (technical specifications) between the two entities;
  • The GoM's guarantee to cover any payment default from the national airline;
  • The contract between the concessionaire, the lenders, and the GoM;
  • The Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract;
  • The Technical Services Agreement (TSA);
  • The Operational Readiness and Airport Transfer Agreement; and
  • The Interface Agreement.
