We acted for a Chinese consortium which is developing a bulk handling facility on the coast of Congo-Brazzaville. We advised on all aspects of the project, including financing, regulatory, corporate and maritime law. We assisted the consortium in preparing a security package which is attractive to lenders as well as flexible from an operations perspective. We also advised on the corporate structure, helping the consortium to best benefit of various double tax treaties available.
