We advised a Hong Kong based investor on its acquisition of an island offshore Madagascar. We conducted due diligence at the regional registry. We undertook negotiations with the seller and concluded a binding head of agreement. We also reviewed the local customary law and practice and prepared detailed advice relating to the fiscal aspects of the investment.
