We acted for a Singapore-listed company intending to acquire an ASX listed company. We verified statements in the bidder’s statement relating to its Malian asset. We conducted searches at the mining registry; reviewed the validity of the mining permits; commented on the grant and renewal process; and ensured that the client was aware of certain operational risks in Mali's mining sector.
