We advised a leading internet service provider on the rules for operating in country, the regulatory regime for internet based sales and the sanctions and enforcement for breach. The client required a strongly commercial approach and we were required to evaluate risk of enforcement in the event of breach, together with the likelihood of conviction if prosecuted.
