We acted for a Gulf-based telecoms provider in its investment into a tower-sharing business in nine jurisdictions across the OHADA region. We reviewed the whole regulatory environment for investment generally in each of the nine countries, and specifically in the telecommunications sector. We reviewed the process for licencing as well as the administrative framework within each country in detail. We completed our task for the client by providing detailed due diligence on the target investment and its operations, followed by the incorporation of local subsidiaries and transfer of assets, jurisdiction by jurisdiction.
